Don’t Worry – Be Hoppy.

A warm welcome back to school for the Summer Term.

It has been another action-packed week in Year 4; I can’t believe we’ve managed to fit so much into what has only been a short week. Swimming lessons continued, with our new teachers Chris and Tanya, on Monday. Children’s groups have changed ever so slightly, so that they are all able to keep learning with those working on the same level of skills; however, everything else will stay the same for this term, so please keep sending children in with their kits each Monday (though not next week of course).

An exciting change in Year 4 this week has been the start of our new English book – Varjak Paw, by SF Said, which we be using to inspire and develop our writing skills over the next few weeks. This is almost a cat version of the familiar story Kung Fu Panda and is one of my favourite books of all time.

Thank you so much to those of you who came to support the Easter Concert on Wednesday afternoon. It proved to be a wonderful occasion and I was so proud of the way the children sang throughout. Many thanks for encouraging them to learn their lyrics over the break!

Our Easter Bunny Hop was a superb event too. All children represented their house with passion and pride, whilst also being very sporting towards one another, which was excellent to see.

Have a brilliant Easter weekend.
