Stone Age

Year 3 have been creating their very own Stone Age style jewellery using salt dough and string. They have used research to develop and design a functional piece of jewellery that is fit for purpose.


Cloud watching

This week Year 3 took some time out of the classroom to watch the world go by! We sketched the shapes of the clouds that passed us by and imitated the sounds around us with body percussion.


Shadow puppets

This week, Year 3 have been looking at how shadows are created. We created our own shadow puppets and tested them out around the class using natural and artificial light.


What is in the box?

This week Year 3 have been looking at the importance of light. We have learnt that without light we cannot see! Did you know that it takes 8 minutes and 20 seconds for the Sun’s rays to reach the Earth?


Lending a hand!

  Year 3 were lent a hand by The Grosvenor Museum. After careful inspection, we noticed that the hand still had finger prints. It gave us a wonderful insight into our Ancient Egyptian topic.


Super Science!
