  • Richard Clark

    Head of School

    Prior to teaching, Richard worked as a Food Process Engineer. He has taught in a diverse range of schools and is passionate about developing teams who are focused on positive outcomes for all learners. Richard has been a Senior Leader in a number of Cheshire schools, and he joined NWAT as Deputy Headteacher of Oak View Academy in 2014. He is a keen runner, enjoys escaping to the Lake District and spending quality time with family and friends.

  • Tracey Foulkes

    Class Teacher

    Tracey Foulkes graduated from Bangor University in 2009 after completing a Primary Education BA (Hons) degree. Tracey has four children, three step children and eight grandchildren. Tracey enjoys time with her family, reading, cooking and caravanning.

  • Rob Benson

    Music Teacher

    After an early education at Leeds Grammar School, Rob gained a Bachelor of Music with Honours degree from the University of Edinburgh before going on to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where he achieved a Master of Music (performance) degree. After a successful and busy career in the catering management industry, Rob decided to pursue his love of teaching and returned to higher education, gaining a PGCE in Music from Liverpool Hope University. Rob continues to play both piano and French Horn, and as well as teaching music in school, he provides music and brass tuition privately.

  • Terry McMahon

    Teaching Assistant

    Terry joined the team in 2018. He joined Grosvenor Park Academy from Neston High School where, for nine years, he was a Cover Supervisor and SEN Teaching Assistant working from Year 7 to Year 13. He has an NVQ Level 3 Supporting and Teaching. His spare time is taken up spending quality, time with his grandchildren.

    EYFS Teaching Assistant

    Chloe is a teaching assistant who works with our Early Years Foundation Stage team. She has a strong foundation in Early Years and Key Stage 1, having worked in various schools across Cheshire, as well as the West Midlands. Chloe has a passion for phonics and early reading. Outside of school, she enjoys days out with her son, woodland walks and eating out.

  • Javan Sparks

    Teacher

    Javan completed a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from Bangor University following completing a BA History degree. Javan has taught in a wide variety of schools and across all age ranges. He currently works with the Year 2 class. Javan is a FA qualified football coach having achieved his coaching badges in January 2018. Javan has represented Wales at a regional level for rugby and athletics. He has also participated in a variety of sporting activities, including football, weightlifting, running and climbing. Javan has been playing the guitar since he was thirteen and loves to play tunes during lessons. In his spare time, Javan enjoys running, football and spending quality time with his wife and three children.

    Office Manager

    Claire has a BA Hons degree in Business from the University of Wales in Cardiff. Before working in schools she worked in HR and has gained a CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources. Before joining Grosvenor Park she worked in the Sixth Form department of a High School in Chester. She enjoys travelling to see family and friends and spending time with her daughter and husband.

  • Charlotte Bryan

    Teaching Assistant

    Charlotte is currently working to achieve her BA Honours Degree and she has gained experience across key stage 1 and 2. Charlotte is currently working in year 1 as a Teaching Assistant and in the process of starting her training to be a teacher. Charlotte is also trained in First Aid, Read Write Inc and gained certificates in Mandarin, Makaton, Braille and Sign Language. Outside of school, Charlotte enjoys travelling, photography, reading, long walks and spending time with family and friends.

  • Jo Bargergy

    Teaching Assistant

    Jo has worked at the school for several years. She has a diploma in specialist support in schools and is currently studying for a diploma in special educational needs and disability. In the past Jo was a management accountant before taking a break to bring up her three children. During her free time she enjoys going to the cinema, cooking and spending time with the family.

  • Ann Marie McLaughlin

    Administration Assistant

    Ann Marie studied Business Studies and Marketing at Lyit and completed her final year at Institute of Technology in Carlow specialising in Marketing. She worked as a Personnel Manager for Dunne Stores Ltd, Ireland. When she moved to England she worked as a Customer Service Manager for the Civil Service. Her husband's job took them to Spain, Germany and Uzbekistan. When they returned to the UK she started working for this wonderful school. She enjoys travelling, swimming, yoga and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Chigusa Bretton

    Kitchen Assistant

    Chigusa has worked as a dinner lady and kitchen assistant since 2013. She graduated from University in Japan and worked for eight years as a kindergarten teacher. She moved to the UK to start a family with her English husband, she has three grown up children. Since 2004, Chigusa has worked every Saturday as a nursery teacher at a Japanese school in Lymm, Warrington. She also teaches Japanese by skype to Japanese children who are in the UK. Chigusa's hobbies include craft work, embroidery and snorkeling.

    Claire completed a three year BA(Hons) degree in Primary Education with Music at Edge Hill University where she gained experience in both Key Stage 1and Key Stage 2. Claire has gained Grade 8 piano, Grade 7 singing, Grade 4 violin and Grade 6 music theory with London College of Music. She has gained advanced level in tap, modern and ballet with The Royal Academy of Dance.
    She has appeared in, and choreographed, a number of school and amateur musicals and has appeared as a dancer in many professional shows working with various celebrities.

    Class Teacher & KS2 Leader

    Charlotte is the Key Stage 2 Leader and teaches Year 3. She has taught at Grosvenor Park C of E Academy since it moved into its home in 2015 and continually looks for exciting opportunities to enhance our curriculum and provide stimulating experiences for all of our children, particularly in her role as Science lead. Charlotte fosters the Academy's link with a school in China and is leading a second visit with pupils in October 2020. Charlotte places great emphasis on the Academy's motto of 'A Voice For Every Child' in all that she does.

    Class Teacher

    Having grown up on a Cheshire dairy farm and having an early career in the Agricultural Sector, Chris trained as a primary teacher in 2010 at the University of Chester. His teaching career has taken him to Oldham, Seoul, The Wirral and now back to Chester. Chris joined Grosvenor Park Academy in January 2019. In his spare time he loves being a dad and playing the guitar.

    Early Years Teacher & KS1 Lead

    Emma is a skilled teacher with ten years teaching experience after completing a PGCE at the University of Cumbria.Emma has spent the past eight years working within schools in the North West Academies Trust, initially as the Early Years Foundation Stage Leader at Delamere C of E Academy before taking on an integral role in setting up St Martin's Academy in 2013 and was Director of Pastoral. Emma's teaching has been recognised as Exemplary by the DfE in EYFS and she has experience of teaching in KS1 and KS2. Emma is Key Stage 1 Leader and teaches in EYFS. Emma is a keen sports woman and enjoys participating in a range of sports; she currently plays Netball for a local club and has played Hockey at county level. Emma enjoys spending time with her young family, cycling, walking and dance.

    Erica has a wealth of experience in Primary Education. She has taught in a diverse range of schools across the country in all primary year groups. Erica is a skilled practitioner who is passionate about designing creative curriculums. She has held a number of Senior Leadership positions, worked as a Creative Curriculum Consultant and mentored a large number of students.
