Counting on and on and on….
In Maths, this week we have been completing counting in 6’s 7’s 9’s 25’s and 1000’s. Playing a new game called yes to recap counting in sixes. Also we have been working on rounding to the nearest 1000, 100 and 10 with four digit numbers.
In English we have been writing our own version of the model text. Throughout the week we have been breaking the model text down into each paragraph and pulling out the language features for use in our own work. On Thursday we put all of our paragraphs together to produce one complete piece of work.
In science we were learning about the function of teeth, when we get them, and when they fall out. We created a poster to represent everything we had learnt in the lesson.
In French we have been learning how to say what is your name? this lead onto our conversion about greeting one another.
We have completed our fund raising event for the NSPCC which the children enjoyed.
The children RE art work has now been entered into a competition, so watch this space…
Have a lovely weekend
