A snapshot of our week in year 3.
On Monday we started work on our rain forest play scripts. Combining everything we have learnt about the rain forest, with everything we have learnt about play scripts.
On Tuesday we spent our final forest school lesson building a zip wire. We had lots of fun and collected a few bruises!
On Wednesday we were feeling creative and so composed our own rain forest raps.
For outdoor learning day on Thursday, we ventured across to Grosvenor Park to find out what had been unearthed as part of the annual Grosvenor Park archaeological dig. There were no dinosaurs or treasure chests, but we did see some interesting pottery and Roman coins.
On Friday we concluded our science topic, plants, by identifying parts of a flower and discussing what they are all for. In order to do this we dissected a lovely bunch of flowers.
There is no homework this weekend, have a lovely half term!
