Please continue to read regularly with your children at home. Encourage them to read a range of genres – including fiction and non-fiction texts. When you read with your child this coming week please concentrate on pace when reading aloud.
All I can say is ‘Fantastic’ really super report back from Ms Valentine about their attitude and aptitude during their PE session this week. Mr Holland was also very impressed with their determination to make ‘fire’ during their forest school session with him this week. Thank you so much for getting everybody here on time for their swimming lesson on Friday. Both their new coaches and I were very impressed with their style and behaviour in the pool.
I am very sorry but due to some organisational issues homework did not go out on Friday. It will be sent out on Monday with a due date of Friday. In the meantime please can you work on instant recall of their times tables especially x6 x7 x8 and x9
Thank you to those who attended the ‘meet the teacher’ presentation on Thursday. I am hoping to put the PowerPoint I used on the website. But if you have any questions please contact the office who will pass on your messages. I am really enjoying getting to know your children – they have worked hard this week – their behaviour for learning has been excellent. I hope you all have a really enjoyable weekend
